Regional Mufti’s Office- Pleven discussed the conduct of “Orphans’ Week” at a monthly meeting with imams

Regional Mufti’s Office – Pleven held its regular monthly meeting on November 25 (Monday), 2019 and was attended by all imams from the region. Official guests of the working meeting from Grand Mufti’s Office were the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov and the Head of “Irshad” Department Halil Hodzhov.

Main focus of the working meeting in Pleven was the topic about the currently ongoing at a national level campaign in support of the orphans. There were discussed the ways to carry out the campaign in order to achieve maximum results. The imams discussed also the topic for organizing religious talks in the mosques during the winter period. The guest from “Irshad” Department at Grand Mufti’s Office Halil Hodzhov spoke on the topic by commenting on the work and the approaching methods in work of the imams with the local congregation.

The agenda of the meeting included also discussions about the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine for 2020, as well as such related to marking the 30 anniversary of the reclaim of the Muslim names. The Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov also took an active part in all discussions with the imams from Pleven region.
