Working visit of the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi in the city of Ruse

On November 22 (Friday), 2019 the Grand Mufti of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi visited Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse. The working visit included visiting the Regional Mufti’s Office, then the Religious School “Mirza Seid Pasha” – Ruse, unofficial opening of the restored mosque “Mirza Seid Pasha” and participation in a working meeting with the imams and the boards of trustees in the region.

During his visit to the mufti’s office in Ruse the Grand Mufti held a meeting with the local leadership. He was informed by the Regional Mufti Yudzhel Hyusnyu about the situation of the spiritual life of the Muslims in the area of the mufti’s office.

After the working meeting the host Hyusnyu accompanied Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi during his visit to the religious school in Ruse. In the presence of the Director of the school Hadzhi had the opportunity to meet with a group pf students and teachers from the school.

“Dear students, today you may not realize the importance of education but after time you will understand how important it is”, the Grand Mufti said in his address to the students from RS – Ruse. He gave them an example with this that the Regional Mufti, the Director of the school as well as some of their teachers also graduated from the same school.

In the framework of his visit to the Danube riparian city the Grand Mufti delivered a Friday sermon (Khutbah) during Jumu'ah prayer in the restored mosque “Mirza Seid Pasha”. During his speech he focused on the importance of youth, the unity and on the national campaign of the Muslim Denomination for supporting the orphans.

The Grand Mufti took also part in the working meeting with the imams and the boards of trustees in the region. The meeting began with recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Turudu Yildirim, guest-imam from the Republic of Turkey in the city of Ruse. The imam of the city of Ruse Ibazer Ibazerov made some clarifications of one verse of the Qur’an and one hadith (narration of the Prophet pbuh). During the working meeting representatives of each of the departments of Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse delivered a brief report. The Regional Mufti made some clarifications about the ongoing activities in his region.

Before the closing part the Grand Mufti focused on the importance of the imams and the boards of trustees in the system of the Denomination, and gave some motivation instructions to the team.

The meeting was officially closed with a dua (supplication) for health, prosperity and welfare.
