Committee on Irshad held its another meeting for 2019

On November 19 (Tuesday) this year the Committee on Irshad at the Supreme Muslim Council held a regular meeting which is planned to be the last one for 2019. Among the participants in the working meeting were Ahmed Hasanov – Chairman of the Committee and a Deputy Grand Mufti, Halil Hodzhov – Head of “Irshad” Department of Grand Mufti’s Office, Bahri Izet – expert at “Irshad” Department and a coordinator of the summer and year-round Qur’an courses in the country, as well as Basri Eminefendi – Regional Mufti of Haskovo.

In the framework of the held meeting were discussed issues related to the quality of the offered education and the functionality of the summer and year-round Qur’an courses in the country.

“We have foreseen to introduce in the near future a system for categorizing and assessing of the qualification of the imams and the employees in the mosques, and this will be implemented from a specially formed for this purpose committee from the Muslim Denomination, members in which can also be guest-experts from abroad. 

According to the level of the imams and the employees in the mosques the financial remuneration for each of them will be also determined.” – said for Grandmufti.bg the expert from “Irshad” Department Bahri Izet.

According to him the Committee on Irshad activities also foresees the introduction of a control and reporting book in the mosques with which the work of the imams and the other employees in the mosques on the territory of our country will be properly and timely followed.
