Muslims from the region of Veliko Tarnovo celebrated Mawlid Kandili

Regional Mufti’s Office – Veliko Tarnovo hosted a festive celebration on the occasion of the Sacred birth of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It took place in the evening of November 8 (Friday) this year in the central mosque of the Old capital town. Especially for the celebration arrived with an organized transport imams and Muslims from a number of settlements in the region.

The program included recitation of Qur’an-i Kerim and Mawlid. The participants had the opportunity to listen to lecture delivered by the Reional Mufti Syuleyman Masurev on the topic “The Life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the meaning of Mawlid Kandili.”
