Meeting with imams from Pazardzhik region was held

Another working meeting with the imams from the region was held in the mosque of the town of Velingrad. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, Grand Mufti of the Muslims in Bulgaria.
The meeting began with recitation of Qur’an-i-Kerim by the imam of the village of Yundola Yumer Kergin. After thanking for the wonderful recitation the Regional Mufti Abdullah Salih presented to the participants the issues discussed during the session of the SMC in Sofia on 4th of February, 2015. After the comprehensive analysis of the discussed topics some issues related to the daily works of the imams were discussed. Among the priority events which were identified was the week for raising funds for the school for imams training in the village of Ustina. The imams were also given the opportunity to propose what events could be held in the different settlements on the occasion of Kutlu doğum. The Grand Mufti Mustafa Hadzhi stressed in his speech on the limitation of the personal commitments of the imams, the arbitrariness and neglecting the importance of the relations with the jamaat (community). At the end of the meeting the Regional Mufti thanked all imams for their diligence and efforts in their daily work.
