Every Thursday the students from RS – Momchilgrad have lectures from guest speakers

At the initiative of the management of Religious School – Momchilgrad every week, on Thursday evening, the students have the opportunity to attend religious lectures of different guest speakers. The last Thursday, on October 24, 2019, a guest speaker was the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Beyhan Mehmed. He presented to the student audience the topic about “The Guidance”. The guest speaker used the opportunity to congratulate the students from the religious school in Momchilgrad for their social activity in the various campaigns and initiatives as well as for their desire to develop in education.

Besides their education according to thecurriculum the students from RS – Momchilgrad have the opportunity to attend also language courses in Bulgarian, Turkish and English. At the present moment 32 student from the school are candidate – hafizes, i.e. they have begun to memorize the Holy Qur’an. During the past week the girls from the educational institution held an autumn charity bazaar with handmade souvenirs and accessories, made by them and their teachers. Within the charity initiative the amount of 220.00 BGN was raised which the children sent through Regional Mufti’s Office for the construction of another one well for drinking water in Nepal.
