Regional Mufti’s Office – Montana held its regular October meeting with imams

The imams at Regional Mufti’s Office – Montana gathered at a regular monthly meeting which took place on October 9 (Wednesday), 2019 from 9:00 o’clock in the mosque “Osman Pazvantoglu” in the town of Vidin.

The working meeting was opened with reading of Qur-an-i Kerim and then the host, the Regional Mufti of Montana Nedzhati Ali, informed the participants about the agenda of the meeting. It included an analysis of the held during the summer season Qur’an courses for children, discussions related to the initiative “Week of Imams and Mosques”, which will take place within the period of October 21 - 27 this year, as well as organizational issues related to holding religious talks, meetings and discussions in the mosques during the upcoming winter season. Another one of the discussed issues was the recruitment of subscribers for “Muslims” magazine. The imams in their turn presented reports on their activities in the relevant settlements during the past month. From the participating imams were selected two candidates to participate in the competition in Hitabet (Oratory), which is going to be held in Momchilgrad in the framework of this year’s “Week of Imams and Mosques”.
