“Irshad” Department closed the season of the summer Qur’an courses with a last for the year meeting with the coordinators

“Irshad” Department of Grand Mufti’s Office held a third consecutive meeting with the coordinators of the summer Qur’an courses, which were held this year on the territory of the entire country. The working meeting took place on September 26 (Thursday) this year in the Media and Culture center in the capital and with the season of the summer Qur’an courses for the present year was officially closed.

22 coordinators for the country took part in the working meeting, which was also attended by the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi and his deputies Ahmed Hasanov and Birali Myumyun Birali.

“Compared to the previous year when there were held 593 Qur’an courses in total, during the summer of the present year, 2019, there was an increase in their number. During this summer there were held 636 summer Qur’an courses at all 20 regional mufti’s offices in the country. We do hope that the summer Qur’an course swill continue to develop in the future and that we will have more groups, and even to open also groups in settlements in the country where Qur’an courses haven’t been held so far. According to him this year nearly 9 000 children took part in the summer Qur’an courses of Grand Mufti’s Office. The courses at each of the regional mufti’s offices ended with the organized Regional Competitions in Basic Knowledge in Islam and the winners from all 20 mufti’s offices gathered at the National Competition in Basic Knowledge in Islam in Momchilgrad.
