Muslim Denomination participated in OSCE conference 

The Muslim Denomination in Bulgaria participated in the OSCE annual Human Dimension Conference in Warsaw, which took place in September 16-27, 2019. The representative of the Muslim Denomination emphasized in his speech that the increasing islamophobia, hate speech and the increasing number of attacks towards Muslim temples and people on ethnic or religious grounds is a serious problem for the security of the Muslims in the country. There was also addressed the issue regarding the restitution of the waqf property of the Denomination, which were confiscated during the totalitarian regime, as well as the obstacles to the construction of prayer houses in municipalities where  there is an acute need of this.
