The imam from the town of Belitsa organized an interesting meeting for his students from the local Qur’an course

At the initiative of their teacher – imam of the town of Belitsa, the children from the Qur’an course in the town had the opportunity to get closely acquainted with some interesting professions.

During the last weekend the teacher organized a meeting for the children with a representative of the local police station, one from the fire department as well as one dental practitioner. The official guests were senior inspector Krondev – Head of the Fire Safety and Protection of the Population Department – town of Yakoruda, junior police officer Musa Gazinov from RPD – Belitsa and Dr. Dunchev who is a dental practitioner.

The aim of the meeting was the children to learn more about these professions first hand as well as to obtain knowledge for their road safety, communication with strangers, safe handling of different electrical appliances at home and of fire outdoor, so that to avoid undesired situations and fire risks. The guest dentist in his turn told the children about some healthy aspects of the oral hygiene as well as about the measures for dental health.

On the occasion of the interesting initiative the Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad Aydan Mohamed specially greeted the teacher and imam of Belitsa for the organized meeting. According to him this is an example for the successful cooperation between the mosque and the different institutions, the activities of which are connected with the daily life of the Muslims in Bulgaria.
