Regional Mufti’s Office – Haskovo held a traditional circumcision (sunnet) for 120 children

Regional Mufti’s office – Haskovo together with the Municipality of Osmangazi in the Republic of Turkey held a traditional mass circumcision (sunnet) on July 22, Monday, 2019. The joint initiative between the mufti’s office in Haskovo and the Turkish municipality takes place for another year. This time in the frameworks of the mass sunnet in Haskovo were circumcised 120 children in total.

Among the official guests of the festive for dozens of children and for their parents event were the Mayor of the Municipality of Osmangazi in the Turkish city of Bursa Mustafa Dündar and the Mayor of the Municipality of Mustafakemalpaşa Sadi Kurtulan. There were also many other guests from Haskovo and the region.

A day later a traditional mass sunnet took place also in the town of Kardzhali.
