Representatives of the Muslim Denomination visited the grieving families of the two deceased student-girls from RS-Momchilgrad

Two days ago, on July 10 this year, representatives of Grand Mufti’s Office, the High Islamic Institute, RS - Momchilgrad and the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bulgaria visited the grieving families of the two student-girls from Religious School – Momchilgrad who drowned in the waters of Varbitsa River at the end of June.

The families of the late Fatma Yumer Amza from Yumerova Mahala of the village of Sveta Petka (Pazardzhik region) and Milyatka Izmirova Kupenova from the village of Osikovo (Blagoevgrad region) were visited by the regional muftis of Blagoevgrad and Pazadzhik Aydan Mohamed and Abdullah Salih, the Deputy Rector of the High Islamic Institute Dr. Mustafa Dzhanla, the Director of the religious school in Momchilgrad Ahmed Bozov and his deputy as well as the Social affairs attaché of the Embassy of the republic of Turkey in Bulgaria Mehmet Genç.

The guests personally offered their condolences to the families of the two deceased girls, sharing their empathy and the support in this difficult moment. During their visit to the villages of Sveta Petka and Osikovo Qur’an-i Kerim was read and dua (supplication) was made to Allah to embrace the deceased with His Mercy and to grant a lot of patience to their parents.

The representatives of the different institutions expressed their hope that since Fatma and Milyatka lost their lives on the path of seeking Islamic knowledge the Merciful Allah will honor them with the title “shahid” (martyrs) and as such will reward them with the beauties of the gardens of the Jannah (Paradise).
