Grand Mufti on official meetings in Makkah
In the framework of his official visit to Saudi Arabia the delegation from Grand Mufti’s Office of Bulgaria led by Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, visited the city of Makkah. On July 1, Monday, this year a meeting with the management of the Muslim World League, headed by Dr. Abdullah Abdurrahman Az-Zayd – Deputy Secretary General of the international Islamic organization took place.
During the meeting the two parties agreed on the opinion that besides increasing the number of the Muslim clerics and the Islamic temples it is also important to make efforts for improving the quality of the work of imams, teachers in religion and in general people who contribute with their activity for the training and the education of the Muslims in the Islamic values and morals.
The hosts informed the guests from Bulgaria about their current project uniting scholars from all over the world and aiming at providing fatwas (legal opinions on a point of Islamic law) on various current issues and problems.
On behalf of the Muslim World League Dr. Abdullah Abdurrahman Az-Zayd expressed his readiness for supporting various scientific and other projects benefiting the Muslims.
After the meeting the Delegation from Bulgaria visited the headquarters of the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques, located also in Makkah. The representatives of the Bulgarian Grand Mufti’s Office, led by the Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi were welcomed by Ahmad Mohammad al-Mansoori – Deputy President of the Presidency.
He informed the guests about the complicated interrelations between the different institutions in Saudi Arabia working together to provide calmness and safety of the worshippers from all over the world. Al-Mansoori ensured that every year more efforts are made to establish further favorable conditions for the performance of the pilgrimages of Hajj and Umrah by the worshippers, coming from all over the world.
