Representatives of the Department on Education and “Irshad” Department had a working visit to Shumen

Representatives of the Department on Education and “Irshad” Department of Grand Mufti’s Office had a working visit to the city of Shumen on May 29 (Wednesday) this year.

Amir Feleti – Head of the Department on Education, the experts from “Irshad” Department Resim Shamatarev and Bahri Izet visited the local regional mufti’s office where they had the opportunity to meet Mesut Mehmedov and his team. They discussed issues related to the activities of the mufti’s office in Shumen during the month of Ramadan, as well as with the organization and carrying out the Ramadan iftar-dinners at a local level.

The representatives of Grand Mufti’s Office visited also the Religious School “Nyuvvab” in the city. There Bahri Izet from “Irshad” Department delivered a lecture to the students from 10^th and 11^th grade related to their preparation and motivation to participate in the summer Qur’an courses, which Grand Mufti’s Office is preparing. Within the working visit to the religious school in Shumen a questionnaire was also circulated among the students from 9^th, 10^th and 11^th grade the aim of which was to survey the educational environment.

“Our official visit to Shumen ended with an iftar-dinner, organized by our colleagues from “Irshad” Department which was attended in a private circle by university students from the Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen”. – said for Grandmufti.bg the expert from “Irshad” Department Bahri Izet.
