The Regional Mufti of Montana hosted an official iftar-dinner at the mosque of Vidin “Osman Pazvantoglu”
The Regional Mufti of Montana Nedzhati Ali hosted a Ramadan iftar-dinner which took place at the mosque of the town of Vidin “Osman Pazvantoglu” on May 22 (Wednesday), 2019.
Representatives of Grand Mufti’s Office were among the official guests of the iftar-dinner. It was attended by the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov, the Secretary General of the Muslim Denomination Dzhelal Faik, as well as by the expert at “Irshad” Department Bahri Izet. The event was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Bulgaria Hasan Ulusoy and the Social affairs attaché at the Turkish embassy in the capital Mehmet Genç.
Among the official guests were also representatives of the local authorities – the Mayor of the Municipality of Vidin Ognyan Tsenkov and deputy mayors, as well as the Metropolitan Daniil of Vidin, directors of schools, teachers and residents of the city. Especially for the occasion came also guests from the towns of Montana, Byala Slatina and Oryahovo.

The iftar-dinner held in Vidin with the participation of representatives of different religious communities once again proved the tolerance and the understanding in which they co-exist regardless of the differences between them.
