Iftar-dinner in the village of Breznitsa, Gotse Delchev region, brought together hundreds of Muslims 

On May 16 (Thursday), 2019 the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bulgaria together with Regional Mufti’s Office – Blagoevgrad organized and held a Ramadan iftar-dinner for 650 people in the village of Breznitsa, Gotse Delchev region.

Official guest and representative of the Turkish Embassy at the event was the social affairs attaché Mehmet Genç. He delivered a greeting address to all guests on behalf of the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Bulgaria Dr. Hasan Ulusoy.

The host and a Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad Aydan Mohamed also welcomed the gathered Muslim multitude which numbered 650 people. He made a brief nasihat before the beginning of the iftar in which he addressed the essence of fasting and the internal change which fasting requires from us as Muslims.
