The High Islamic Institute sent its 21st graduating class
With an official ceremony at the Central Military Club – Sofia which took place on May 4, this year, the High Islamic Institute (HII) sent its 21st graduating class. In the 21st year of the existence of the Islamic Institute as a higher educational institution it sent exactly the same number of graduates - 21.
The official graduating ceremony was attended by the present HII Rector and a Grand Mufti of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, the Deputy Grand Mufties Ahmed Hasanov, Murat Pingov and Birali Birali. There were also representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey to Bulgaria and of the General Consulates of Turkey in Plovdiv and Burgas. The event was attended by regional muftis, directors and teachers from the religious schools in the country and from HII, as well as by many other guests.
The program on the graduation of Class 2019 included an official farewell speech to the graduates by the Rector of the HII Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi. He addressed the graduating youths with the words, that as their education was possible with the help of the Muslim community, so they should give their due to it after their graduation.
The program also included theatric sketches performed by the graduates, farewell speeches on their turn, which provoked causing contradictory feelings– of joy and sadness in the attendees.

For additional positive elation of the atmosphere contributed the special participation of “Vest” band during the event.
