At the end of April this year the town of Devin in the Rhodopes once again hosted the competition “I can – here and now”, which this time was on digital competence, design, programming, photography and multimedia.
And it was not for a first time when students from Religious School – Momchilgrad participated in the competition “I can – here and now” where they had the opportunity to show their practical skills and preparation for the digital professions.
Within two days the youths from the religious school competed with their knowledge and skills with other 134 students from 7th to 12th grade from the entire country.
The Religious School in Momchilgrad was presented at the competition by Alper Eminefendi (8th grade), Bilyal Yarmadzha (10th grade), Metko Fetov (10th grade) and Mustafa Imuzov (12th grade), who were accompanied by their teacher Ali Halil. Two of them competed in “Programming” category, and Metko and Bilyal – in “Presentation” category. The other categories of the competition were “Video”, “Graphic design”, “Photography”, “Photoshop Website Design” and "Frontend Development".
The first 10 finalists from each category were awarded and the representative from the religious school in Momchilgrad succeeded to rank at 8th place in “Programming” category.
“Our participation in the competition in digital competences in Devin “I can - here and now” was one unforgettable and very useful experience indeed.” - shared for Grandmufti.bg the student from 12th grade Mustafa Inuzov, who competed in “Programing” category. He expressed his gratitude to the organizers and to everyone who made possible the gaining of this experience by the students in the field of the digital sciences.
The group from Religious School – Momchilgrad combined their travel with a tourist tour to the town of Madan, visit to the cave “Devil's Throat” at Trigrad and visit to the landmarks in Pamporovo resort.
