Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna celebrated the Night of Regaib and the beginning of the three blessed months

On the night of March 7, 2019 (Thursday/Friday) Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna officially celebrated the Night of Regaib which marks the beginning of the three blessed months in the Islamic calendar.

The official program took place in the central mosque “Aziziye” in the city of Varna. It was organized by the imam-khatib of the mosque Ismail Ahmedov and Soner Aziz – a graduate of RS – Ruse and currently student in the city of Varna.

The program began with welcoming address on behalf of Nuray Shukri – interim Regional Mufti of Varna.

“In his address he focused on the importance of the blessed days, in which an opportunity is provided to our souls to rest from the tirednessof the tedious daily life. Nuray Shukri also highlighted that we must not forget that sharing the duas (supplications), repentance, the good deeds and happiness will have a great reward from the Almighty Allah”. – the Secretary of Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna Fahredin Mollamehmed said for Grandmufti.bg.

The Program continued with recitation of Qur’an and singing religious songs (ilyahi) by children who participated in the summer Qur’an courses.

The sacred Night of Regaib ended with a joint dua (supplication) for health, blessing and welfare, made by hafiz Ömer Ali Özer – employee of the Diyanet of the Republic of Turkey.
