Grand Mufti awarded the regional muftis with highest results in the charity campaign for orphans

The Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi awarded with plaques the regional muftis with highest results in the national charity campaign “Give a hand to an orphan, win the favor of Allah”. Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan achieved the highest result collecting 8 974.17 leva, followed by Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos – with 8 349.64 leva, the third place is for Regional Mufti’s Office – Blagoevgrad with 7 750.00 leva, and the forth place is for Sofia with 7 300.00 leva.

The total amount which was collected in the campaign is 58 212.47 leva. It is enough for supporting 119 orphans with 50 leva per month during year 2015.

The Muslim Boards of Trustees also received their incentives for contributing to the campaign with donations of over 1000 leva.

The campaign “Give a hand to an orphan, win the favor of Allah” is organized for a second consecutive year aiming at supporting orphans. The spending of the total amount of money is assigned. Similar report for the collected money and their spending will be published in “Muslims” magazine and on the website of the Denomination.

Grand Mufti’s Office expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Bulgarian society, which through its generosity made possible this deeply humane act to become a tradition.
