Imams and members of Muslim boards of trustees met at a working meeting in Targovishte

A working meeting took place in the town of Targovishte on February 14 (Thursday), 2019 at the initiative of Regional Mufti’s Office – Targovishte and under the management of the interim regional mufti Nazif Rasimov. It was attended by the imams and the chairmen of the Muslim boards of trustees in the region.

Among the discussed during the meeting topic were the problems of the Muslim community in the region, increasing the number of the subscriptions for ‘Muslims” magazine for 2019. There was also addressed the topic about the final amendments to the Law on the Religious Denominations.

The Regional Mufti Rasimov gave guidelines for more fruitful work and informed the staff of the mufti’s office in Targovishte that he is going to do unannounced on-the-spot inspections in order to achieve more efficient performance. “From now on a priority will be not the quantity but the quality” – he said to his colleagues during the working meeting.
