When you really wish something: The story of grandfather Yusein Madanski with a happy ending
The story of grandfather Yusein Madanski from the village of Chepintsi in the Rhodopes, about which we have already told you, sooner than we imagined reached its happy ending. In less than 10 days the necessary amount of 3200 EUR was raised, which will help the old man to resolve “the only concern” which he has in his life – to go and perform the pilgrimage of Hajj to the Holy places of Mecca and Medina.
To the bank account of the Muslim Denomination just for few days was raised the half of the necessary amount. The second half was transferred also to the same account on February 19 (Tuesday) by a charity Association “Margariti”. In this way the campaign to help grandfather Yusein to fulfill his dream “Hajj” was successfully implemented and officially completed.
The Regional Mufti of the town of Smolyan Nedzhmi Dabov visited the old Muslim in the village of Chepintsi and officially gave him a certificate that the necessary amount with which he will be able his sacred wish is already a fact to the account of the Muslim Denomination in Bulgaria.
“I would like to express my gratitude to all the people who watched me (a.n. – on the NovaTelevision production “No Man’s Land” on February 9) and approved my deeds, they accepted them from the heart and decided to help me for my last desire at the moment. My call to the Almighty is to return the good to them multiplied…May Allah be pleased with all of them!” – said grandfather Yusein in a video address to the benefactors who helped him for the fulfilment of his sacred desire.
We wish Yusein Madanski strong health and always to be so positive and confident in his dreams! From the heart we wish him, with the permission of Allah, to travel to the Holy lands this year and to come back in best health and with accepted Hajj!
Besides very emotional the story of grandfather Yusein is also extremely instructive for all of us, as a Muslim community. It shows and indisputably proves what someone had said… that the power of people is in their unity!
