The story about grandfather Yusein Madanski from the village of Chepintsi: When the reward for goodness is good

The 73-years old grandfather Yusein Madanski from the village of Chepintsi, Smolyan region, is an ordinaryindustrious Bulgarian man, professing Islam. And as usually happens in life – the most ordinary people do the greatest extraordinary deeds, so grandfather Yusein has one extremely noble deed behind. It has been popularized from several media during the recent months.

The last episode of the production of NOVA Television and Production Company “Teleman” “No man's land”from February 9 (Saturday)was also dedicated to the selfless initiative of the old Muslim from the Rhodopes. It is he who dedicated the several recent years to build a stable bridge in the settlement, relying almost only on his own efforts and possibilities, in order the facility to be of use for his neighbors from hamletYaneva in Chepintsi and for all the people in the village.

It took him 3-4 years to build entirely by hand, without specialized equipment a bridge, which is capable of withstanding the load of 26 tons.

Today grandfather Yusein lives modestly, but withenviable positivism and with sincere satisfaction with Allah (the Most Glorified, the Most High.). He is pleased with everything in his life but he shared with the team of “No man’s land” that he has only “one concern”.

“I wish already to visit the Holy lands – to perform Hajj”, shared the old Muslim. – “If I’m lucky, if a way to there is destined for me by… the Almighty, I will go. But if not – thank God again!” – adds on the topic to the TV team grandfather Yusein.

Thanks to the broadcasted TV episode by “No man’s land” and the “power” of the social networks, for a very short time the story of the inhabitant of the Rhodopes reached to a very large circle of people not only in Bulgaria, but also abroad.

After watching the TV program from Saturday, dozens of Muslims united around their wish to help the 73-years old Muslim to resolve his “concern” and maybe to fulfil one of his most sacred desires.

“It is very hard for one person to pick up100 kg but for ten peoplethe same kilos will be a child's play! And in this sense – if each of 600 people gives 10 BGN as a charity then this brother of ours would have fulfilled his dream, and this would not affect our family budget at all.” -  includes the discussion on the social networks of those who want to send grandfather Yusein to the pilgrimage of Hajj.

The initiators got in contact with Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan and the Regional Mufti Nedzhmi Dabov took up the case.

And let’s not forget that in a hadith (narration) reported by Abu Hureyra (r.a.), the Prophet (pbuh) said: 

 “He who removes from a believer one of his difficulties of this world, Allah will remove one of his troubles on the Day of Resurrection; and he who finds relief for a hard-pressed person, Allah will make things easy for him in this life andin the Hereafter; he who covers up (the faults and sins) of a Muslim, Allah will cover up (his faults and sins) in this world and in the Hereafter. Allah supports His servant as long as the servant is supportive of his brother…”
