Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali held a meeting with imams from the region

A monthly meeting with imams from the region of Kardzhali was held on February11, 2019 at the central mosque of the town of Kadzhali.

The meeting was organized by Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali under the management of the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed. The meeting was also attended by the deputy muftis Erhan Redzheb and Nasuf Halil, as well as Sezer Sadulov – head of “Irshad” Department at the mufti’s office.

The meeting began with recitation of verses from the Qur’an by the imam of the new mosque in the town of Momchilgrad Yumer Aliosman. Then the Regional Mufti informed the participants about the agenda of the meeting.

During the meeting were discussed the results of the campaign in support of the destitute Muslims in Yemen and China, the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine for 2019, the funding of the religious denominations by the state budget and others.

At the end of the meeting in connection with the recent events related to the appointment of a new management of the mosque in the town of Kardzhali, the imams proposed and initiated a petition in support of the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed and the decisions of the central managing bodies of the Denomination – Grand Mufti’s Office and the Supreme Muslim Council.

The meeting ended with a dua (supplication) for health, prosperity and peace, made by the imam of the village of Kaloyantsi Fahri Apturahman.
