Mufti’s Office in Sliven held a January meeting with imams and Muslim boards of trustees from the region

Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven held a regular meeting with the imams and the chairmen of the Muslim boards of trustees from the region on January 6, 2019.

The working meeting was opened with a dua (supplication) of the Regional Mufti Akif Aifov. Then he delivered a report and analysis to the participants on the activities of Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven for the past year, 2018. Akifov informed the imams and the chairmen of Muslim boards of trustees about the objectives and the tasks for the present year, 2019, and also addressed the issue regarding the adopted amendments to the Law on the Religious Denominations in order to provide information to the participants. 

“After completing the agenda we held discussions on a number of issues regarding the work of the mufti’s office among them was that we have to work more actively to inform the local community for the different campaigns held by Grand Mufti’s Office, and after that - for the achieved results from them.” – said for Grandmufti.bg the Regional Mufti of Sliven Akif Akifov.
