The Regional Muslim Council at Regional Mufti’s Office – Targovishte held its first meeting for 2019

The first meeting of the Regional Muslim Council (RMC) for the present 2019 year, which is a part of the Regional Mufti’s Office - Targovishte, was held on January 28 (Monday). The meeting was called by the chairman and the acting regional mufti of Targovishte Nazif Rasimov.

The workshop, which took place in the headquarters of the Regional Mufti's Office in Targovishte, was attended by the members of RMC Raif Efraimov, who is the secretary of the Regional Mufti's Office in Targovishte, the imam of Ruets village (Municipality of Targovishte) Ayhan Abtulov, Ahmed Ahmedov – an imam in the town of Popovo, Erdzhan Mustafov – the imam of “Zindzhirli” mosque in the town of Omurtag, the Imam of Konop village (Antonovo Municipality), Basri Sherif, and the imam of the town of Opaka, Mehedin Mustafov.

The participants of the meeting discussed the status of the the Muslim boards of trusteesat the Regional Mufti's Office of Targovishte. They discussed  the problems, which they face in the area, as well as decisions how to overcome that problems were made.
