Delegation of Grand Mufti’s Office met with the President of “Diyanet” in the Republic of Turkey

A delegation led by the Grand Mufti of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, visited the Republic of Turkey. In the delegation were also the Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council Vedat Ahmed, as well as Mehmet Genç – Social Affairs Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bulgaria.

The occasion of the visit to Turkey was to hold a meeting with the President of the “Diyanet” Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş, during which the translation of the Qur’an into Bulgarian language was discussed. There were also addressed issues related to the Islamic education, and also with the necessity of focusing on adhering to the religious principles which are based on the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh).

Within the held meeting the Grand Mufti of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi invited the host Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş to visit Bulgaria.
