Grand Mufti’s Office held a workshop for students in Sliven

The town of Sliven hosted a religious workshop for students which took place in the period December 23 – 28, 2018. It was part of the series of workshops that are already traditionally organized and held by Grand Mufti’s Office during the winter school holiday.

The workshop took place in the base of the Muslim Denotation in the town and was attended by 20 boys in total at the age of 10 – 14 years old. The program like in the other workshops for students was related to lectures in the four fields – Fiqh, Aqidah, Sirah and Qur’an-i Kerim.

During the 5-day workshop the children were visited by the expert at “Irshad” Department Resim Shamatarev. He greeted them for their motivation to take the advantage of some of the days of their winter holiday exactly for participation I a religious workshop and increasing their knowledge about Islam. On behalf of Grand Mufti’s Office as an organizer of the event he presented gifts for all participants in the workshop.
