Vandals desecrated the Muslim cemetery in Dobrich

During the night of September 6 - 7 this year nearly 40 graves in the Muslim cemetery in the town of Dobrich were desecrated by vandals, whose identity is still unknown. In the social networking were disseminated photos where the demolishedgravestones of the graves can be seen. The vandal act is committed despite of the available 24-hour security guard in the cemetery.

From Regional Mufti’s Office – Dobrich commented for Grandmufti.bg that they have learnt for the crime from the media and do not have other information about what happened.

There is a prosecutor’s order for immediate examination and pre-trial proceedings have also been initiated. Witnesses were examined.
