Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven held its regular August meeting with the Imams

          On August 16 this year (Thursday) Regional Muft’s Office - Sliven held its August meeting with the imams. It took place at the head office in Sliven.

          The regional Mufti of Sliven Akif Akifov welcomed all the attendees and introduced them to the agenda of the meeting. And it consisted of two main topics - the summer Qur’an courses in the region and the organization within the coming celebration of Kurban Bayram holiday. The imams discussed issues about the preparations for the great Muslim holiday and focused on the organization around the animal sacrifice within "Let's share our qurban"campaign, the preparation of the preliminary lists for the distribution of the meat and the distribution of the meat itself.

          The participants in the meeting also discussed some other topics about the work of the imams.

          After discussing all the items of the agenda, the working meeting was closed with a du’a for health, prosperity and for a fruitful and coordinated work of the employees of Regional Mufti’ office - Sliven.
