BAGHIE held its annual meeting in Momchilgrad

On July 29 this year was held the annual meeting of the Bulgarian Association of the Graduates with Higher Islamic Education (BAGHIE). It was part of the program of the 3-day workshop meeting for people with higher Islamic education in Momchilgrad, which was held few days ago.

Moderator of the regular meeting was Dr. Ahmed Lyutov, and within it there was delivered an annual report by the BAGHIE Chairman Beyhan Mehmed.

“The participants were informed about the successfully implemented projects of the Association, as well as with the new projects on which will be worked. The meeting ended with a discussion within which the participants gave their ideas and proposals. Among the new proposals were to hold regional meetings of BAGHIE, as well as recruitment of donations for the implementation of the new projects” – explained for Grandmufti.bg the Chairman of the Association and Head of the Administrative Department of Grand Mufti’s Office Beyhan Mehmed.

During the held annual meeting there was also presented the new Management Board of BAGHIE, which consists of 7 members:

The Bulgarian Association of the Graduates with Higher Islamic Education (BAGHIE) works already 5 years – it was established in 2014. The Management Board traditionally meets once a year unless extraordinary meetings are required. Members of the Association are people who graduated with higher Islamic education, and the aim of this kind of NGO is to support the work of the Muslim Denomination in Bulgaria.
