One-day workshops for the coordinators of the summer Qur’an courses
Two one-day workshops for the coordinators of the summer Qur’an courses in the relevant regional mufti’s offices in the country took place on July 4 and 5 this year. The workshops, organized by Grand Mufti’s Office of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria, took place at two places – at the Training school for imams – Ustina and at the Religious School “Mirza Said Pasha” – Ruse.
Beside the consultants of the summer Qur’an courses at every regional mufti’s office, in the workshops also participated a representative of “Irshad” Department at Grand Mufti’s Office – Bahri Izet, as well as the Deputy Grand Mufti – Ahmed Hasanov and Dr. Ahmet Lyutov – representative of “Internal audit” Department.
Within the workshops were discussed different issues related to the organization and the conduct of this year’s Qur’an courses for children during the summer.
“Grand Mufti’s Office of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria attaches great importance to the summer Qur’an courses in the settlements on the territory of the entire country. We have foreseen this year to work more systematically on their conduct and May Allah grant baraqah in this our activity” – said the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov in his address to the participants in the workshops.
After Eid al-Fitr 2018 and with the beginning of the summer season in our country began nearly 500 summer Qur’an courses for children. They will continue about two months after which, as every year, Regional Competitions in Basic Knowledge in Islam will be held at the regional mufti’s offices.
“The finalists from the regional competitions in the entire country will meet together in order totest their knowledge at the National Competition in Basic Knowledge in Islam. It is going to take place after the Feast of Eid al-Adha this year”. – explained the expert at “Irshad” Department Bahri Izet.
