June working meeting was held with the imams from the region of Veliko Tarnovo

On June 19 this year (Tuesday) took place a working meeting with the imams from Regional Mufti’s Office – Veliko Tarnovo. It was held at the premises of the local mufti’s office in the Old Capital Town.

Among the topics which the imams discussed during the meeting was the held Campaign in Support of the Islamic Education. The participants analyzed the results of it at a regional level. There was also addressed the topic on carrying out the upcoming summer Qur’an courses for children. The imams also presented the monthly reports on their work.

The imams discussed the upcoming traditional celebration in June at “Gaazi baba teke”. It takes place every year at the village of Ryahovtsite, Sevlievo region, and contains cultural and religious program along with a qurban treat for all guests from near and distant settlements.
