Reception on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr

Тhe official reception of the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi on the occasion of the feast of Eid al-Fitr took place оn June 15 at the premises of Grand Mufti’s Office.

Еvery year the Grand Mufti traditionally organizes a reception on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr where representatives of different religious communities, diplomats, political representatives, journalists, intellectuals and public figures are invited.

In his welcoming address Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi turned to the guests with the words: “Eid is the time when all people come together regardless of their religion, ethnicity and social status.”

The Grand Mufti greeted all Muslims on the holiday and expressed his happiness with the presence of the representatives of the other religious communities in Bulgaria.

The guests also thanked for the kind invitation of the host and expressed their desireto have more frequent moments when people of different religions and ethnicities share and honor each other’s holidays.
