Grand Mufti’s Office held meetings with iftar dinners with the Muslim community from Bulgaria in Belgium

 

The Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov and the Secretary General of the Muslim Denomination Dzhelyal Faik were on a two-day Ramadan visit to Belgium where they had the opportunity to meet representatives of the Muslim community from our country.

On June 1 was held a meeting with iftar dinner in Brussels, and the next day – in the Belgium city of Ghent, and the two meetings with iftars were attended by more than 100 our compatriots.

The representatives of the Muslim Denomination talk with the Bulgarian Muslims there within the meetings which took place during the Ramadan dinners (iftars) on June 1 and 2. There were discussed a number of different problems related to the life of the Muslims from Bulgaria in Belgium. It was focused on the problem of the transportation of our deceased Muslim compatriots to our country.

“Since 2016 such visits on behalf of the Grand Mufti’s Office to Muslims communities from Bulgaria in Europe are already a tradition of the Denomination. They will be held not only within the month of Ramadan, but during throughout year” – explained for Grandmufti.bg the Secretary General of Grand Mufti’s Office Dzhelyal Faik.
