The historical mosque in Dzhebel was restored

After a year of restauration works the mosque in the Municipality of Dzhebel, Kardzhali region, was officially opened.

Built in 1712, the mosque attracts with its different architectural aesthetics, which bares the signs of the flow in the art “Tulip” which appeared in 18 century.

The restauration of the temple was done with the assistance of donors from Bursa district, Republic of Turkey.

During the official opening of the mosque the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali said: “I wish that there will be many visitors, successful Qur’an courses and social activities”.

Among the participants of the opening were the Regional Mufti of Plovdiv Taner Veli, the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Plovdiv Huseyin Ergani, the Deputy Regional Governor of Bursa in the Republic of Turkey – Ahmet Aka, Metin Akbaş - Social Affairs Attaché at the Consulate of the Republic of Turkey in Plovdiv, the Director of RS Momchilgrad – Ahmed Bozov.

After the opening of the mosque the guests gathered at iftar dinner.
