Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse held a meeting with the active women from the Muslim community in the region, which took place on April 26, 2018 at the “Hadzhi Mehmed” mosque in the city of Ruse.

The event began with reading of verses from the Qur’an by Abdullah Dursun, after which the Regional Mufti of the city of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu welcomed the participants and presented the official guests at the meeting, namely – the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov and Selime Hsanova – lecturer at HII in Sofia.

The meeting was organised in order to discuss some topical issues, related to the work of the women in Ruse region. There were addressed topics such as the preparation for the upcoming month of Ramadan, recruitment of candidate students for RS – Ruse and others.

         The Regional Mufti of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu presented to the participants in the meeting the present activities and the situation in which the Muslim Denomination currently is. Among the focuses of the held meeting was also the topic about the possibility of the active women to participate in the religious life of the community.

Within his address to the participants in the meeting the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmеd Hasanov focused on the identity and the importance of the activities carried out by the active women among the Muslims in the region of Ruse.

On theother hand, Selime Hasanova explained during her lecture the current questions that were addressed to her.

This is the first of its kind event in Ruse region. Before the end of the meting the Regional Mufti of the city of Ruse proposed these meetings to be continued in the future. It was unanimously decided that after the month of Ramadan the participants to meet again.

Dua (supplication) for health and blessing was made at the end of the meeting by the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov. For all participants in the meeting was provided treat by the Regional Mufti of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu.
