Football tournament between HII and the three religious schools took place in Sofia

On April 21, 2018 (Saturday) in the capital took place a football tournament between the teams of the High Islamic Institute (HII) and the religious schools in Momchilgrad, Shumen and Ruse. It was organized by HII and took place on the football field in “Vrazhdebna” quarter, and the sport tournament continued 14 hours in total.

At first place was ranked the team of the hosts – HII. The second place was for the players for RS – Shumen, where the first beat the second with 5:4. The third and the forth places were respectively for the players from the teams of RS – Momchilgrad and RS – Ruse. The team of Momchilgrad beat the team of Ruse 5:3.

The football jury of the tournament was Dr. Sefer Hasanov and Saadetin Zinnoreyn – representatives of HII, and one representative of RS – Ruse and RS - Momchilgrad.

Beside the team awards the organizers had also foreseen individual awards for special merits among the players. Asan Dzhenev, captain of the HII team, got the award for “Gоal master”, and Sali Huseyn from the same team – award for „Goalkeeper”. The awards were personally given by the Deputy  Rector of HII in Sofia – Mustafa Dzhanla, as well as by the representatives of the jury.
