The painting competition on “Faith - A Dream for a Better World” finished
The second consecutive painting competition on “Faith – a Dream for a Better World”, organized by the National Council of the Religious Communities in Bulgaria (NCRCB) finished.
“The topic is faith, because through faith we can make this world better. As works of different children of different religions can be gathered in one hall, so in the big hall of life people of different religions can live, with their temples, with their colors and with their shapes without hampering each other”, said the deputy Grand Mufti Birali Birali – a member of the NCRCB Board.
According to the evaluation of the jury (Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Birali – chairman, and members – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boyka Donevska – Deputy Rector of National Academy of Art, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Verdzhinia Markarova – lecturer at the National Academy of Art, and Anton Nikolov – teacher at the Specialized Secondary School of Fine Arts “Nikolay Iremov” and a lecturer at Christian Institute “St. Trivelius”) the names of the ranked participants in the competition are:
In first age group (6-10 years)
First place – Bogdana Georgieva Katarska
Second place – Ema Dimova
Third place – Emine Zhizhovska
With incentive awards:Halime Mehmed, Ozi Silvanova, Bozhidar Sharliyski, Vaselina Severinova
In second age group (11-14 years)
First place – Hela Papazyan
Second place – Sofia Olegovna
Third place – Ana Tomova
In third age group (15-18 years)
First place – Berna Stefanova
Second place – Dina Antonova
On April 23, from 18:00 o’clock at “Sredets” Gallery of the Ministry of Culture will be opened an exhibition of the ranked works, where will also take place the awarding ceremony of the winners in the competition. The exhibition can be visited till May 4, 2018.
