Children from the Qur’an courses in the capital presented the book “40 ahadith, 40 illustrations”

 

On April 14 the children from the three year-round Qur’an courses in Sofia presented a festive program in the mosque “Banya Bashi”.

At the initiative of RMO Sofia and “Publishing” Department of Grand Mufti’s Office, parents and teachers gathered at the joint program where the children presented the new book for kids “40 ahadith, 40 illustrations”, which is specially published for the youngest readers. With original illustrations by the Turkish painter Hasan Aycin and ahadith into three languages – Arabic, Bulgarian and Turkish.

The program began with a lecture for the importance of the hadith in Islam, which was delivered by the SMC Chairman Vedat Ahmed.

Among the official guests of the program were also the Deputy Grand Mufti Murat Pingov, the Regional Mufti of Sofia Mustafa Izbishtali and Shenol Genç – Educational affairs attaché at the Turkish Embassy in Bulgaria.

The Regional Mufti of Sofia Mustafa Izbistali recalled one of the ahadith of the Prophet (pbuh) in which it is said: “The best heritage which one can leave to his children is the good education.”

According to the Regional Mufti the mosque plays a great role for the education of a child. “The mosque is the place where the children from the big city will grow up, the place where they will play, where they will find friends”, said Izbishtali.

 

After the program all participants in it received gifts, as well as their teachers – Metin Molaali, Fatima Tsineva and Fatma Hatip. And outside the mosque the mothers had prepared another sweet surprises  and fun for the children.
