Grand Mufti’s Office held a workshop with teachers form the summer Qur’an courses in Kardzhali region

Trying to increase the quality of the education and the interest in the summer Qur’an courses “Irshad” Department puts as an objective to hold workshops with the teachers at the regional mufti’s offices in the entire country.

In connection with this in the administrative building of Regional Mufti’ Office – Kardzhali was held a two-day workshop, organized by the Head of “Irshad” Department Halil Hodzhov. The workshop began on April 9, 2018 and was attended by the teachers in the Qur’an courses from the region of Kardzhali.

The meeting was opened by the Regional Mufti of Kardhzali Beyhan Mehmed, who thanked all participants for responding to the invitation. The event passed usefully – with a constructive dialogue where many of the imams shared their experience and made proposals regarding the carrying out of the summer Qur’an courses. 

In his turn the lecturer Halil Hodzhov presented to the teachers some effective and rational pedagogical methods for increasing the interest and the attention of the students in the Qur’an courses. The program of the two-day workshop also included a lecture which was delivered by the imam of the village of Benkovski – Erdinch Suleyman. He heads a Qur’an course in which usually participate one hundred students.
