Grand Mufti’s Office held a workshop for hafizes in the capital

 

Nearly 20 hafizes from all over the country joined the specially organized for them workshop in the capital. It took place within the period from March 30 to April 1, and was organized by Grand Mufti’s Office with the assistance of the Training school for imam sin the town of Madan. All hafizes, who took part in the 3-day workshop, are former and present students of the training school.

The program included a variety of topics, presented by different lecturers.

On Saturday the lectures were held in the Media and Culture Center of Grand mufti’s Office in Sofia, and lecturers were the expert at “Irshad” Department Resim Shamatarev, the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Myumyun Birali, and hafiz Ibrahim Ali Hodzha. Their lectures were respectively on “Memorizing the Qur’an – a challenge or a priority in the 21st century”, “Knowledge in the field of the ethical system” and “With the Qur’an and its guardians”.

The lectures from the program on Sunday took place at the High Islamic Institute (HII), and the topics “How to apply in practice the message which we carry” and “Melodically recitation of the Qur’an” were presented respectively by Dr. Sefer Hasanov, lecturer at HII, and by the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov.

The program included also discussions between the participating hafizes, in which they discussed different problems, their expectations, their role in the society and their willingness to give their contribution for it.

The training school for hafizes in the mining town of Madan in the Rhodopes is the only place in Bulgaria where hafizes are trained. It is established in 1999 and today continues to work as an educational structure under the control and the management of Grand Mufti’s Office of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria.
