Working meeting with the imams from Blagoevgrad region was held in the village of Kornitsa

A regular working meeting with the imams was organized by Regional Mufti’s Office – Blagoevgrad. It took place on March 29 this year (Thursday) in the village of Kornitsa, Gotse Delchev region.

Within the meeting were addressed and discussed current issues, related to the activities of the imams. The official guest of the working meeting – the Secretary General of Grand Mufti’s Office Dzhemal Faik, presented to the imams the lecture on “Protocol and Politeness Guidelines”, dedicated to the ethics of the religious leader.         

In his turn the Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad Aydan Mohamed addressed the topic about the teamwork of all employees of the Muslim denomination.

“During the meeting the imams were extremely active. There was raised the question about the public statement of Prosecutor Nedyalka Popova several days ago. The imams insisted the Supreme Muslim Council to issue an official position on the matter. They also made several concrete proposals on this issues which I as a Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad will submit to the Supreme Muslim Council” – said for Grandmufti.bg the Regional Mufti of Blagoevgrad Aydan Mohamed.
