The Mufti’s Office in Montana held a regular meeting with the imams
The monthly meeting with the imams for March was organized by Regional Mufti’s Office – Montana. It took place on March 28 this year (Wednesday) at the premises of the Regional Mufti’s Office in the town of Vidin. Official guest of the meeting was the Grand mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, who was on an official visit to the town.
The meeting with the imams began at 8:30 o’clock and was opened with a recitation of the Qur’an-i Kerim by the Regional Mufti of Montana Nedzhati Ali. Following the agenda he delivered a report on the activities of the mufti’s office for the past month. The imams from the settlements on the territory of the Mufti’s Office in Montana also reported on their activities during March this year.
The participants discussed the issues about the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine 2018, as well as organizing weekly religious talks in the mosques and the masajed in the region.
Priority issues among the discussed during the meeting were those about the Campaign for collecting the so called “imam-haki” (annual contribution of every person of a family) and the carrying out of Qur’an courses for children.
The Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi as a guest of the working meeting addressed his colleagues from Regional Mufti’ Office – Montana by focusing on accepting Islam as a way of life and focused on the importance of the work with children in the framework of the Qur’an courses, and also of the moral support and service to the needy.
