Lecture with discussion Communications and relations in social media” took place in Momchilgrad

The Deputy Grand Mufti of Bulgaria Birali Myumyun delivered a lecture on “Communications and relations in social media” to the students from Religious School – Momchilgrad. It took place on February 20, (Tuesday), 2018 from 13:00 o’clock in the conference hall of the school.

The lecture addressed important and current issues related to the moral and ethical behavior in social media. There was raised the question how the profile of one Muslim in the social network should look like as well as to what extent the time spent in it is beneficial to us and to what it is harmful for us.

“The responsibility which we have as Muslims in the real life is the same one which we have also in our virtual life, the life in the social networks”, was one of the highlights made by the lecturer Myumyun during the presentation of the topic to the students.

         In the followed after that discussion the students had the opportunity to ask their questions, to which Birali Myumyun answered with patience and professionalism.

“We liked the lecture very much and as a whole everyone shares positive feedback about it. Some of my classmates have already shared with me that they are eager to be organized other similar topics, related to so affecting us current issues” – shared for Grandmufti.bg a day after the lecture some students from Religious School – Momchilgrad.
