More than 30 boys from the regions of Smolyan and Blagoevgrad were at a 4-day workshop in Rudozem

More than 30 students from forth to eight grade from the settlements in the scope of the mufti’s offices in the regions in Smolyan and Blagoevgrad took part in a religious workshop for boys in Rudozem. It took place in the period December 24-28, 2017 in the training base at the central mosque of the mining town. This was one of the five workshops for students that Grand Mufti’s Office organized and held in December in the training bases of the Muslim Denomination at mosques and schools in the country.

Head of the workshop for students in Rudozem was Hayri Sherifov from regional Muftis Office – Smolyan. The children had lectures in Fiqh, Aqidah, Sirah and Qur’an-i Kerim from the local teachers – Bayram Ushev, Vahdi Delihusev, NIhat Ademov, as well as Suatin Cholak. Besides classes in religion during the workshop the boys had the opportunity to consolidate and further develop their knowledge and skills in Information technologies.

Due to the fact that the head of the workshop Hayri Sherifov is also a president of the local football club “Palas” and the Rhodope town has excellent sports facilities, the participants in the workshop had many and various sports and leisure activities.

In addition to this there was organized an excursion to the neighboring settlements – the village of Chepintsi and the town of Madan where the students had the opportunity to see them and to visit their central mosques.

With a significant stock of new knowledge for Islam with nice moments and positive experiences the children from the regions of Smolyan and Blagoevgrad parted on December 28, 2017 when the small Muslims travelled back to their homes.
