Supreme Muslim Council awards for good practices

On December 8, Friday, the Supreme Muslim Council of the Muslim Denomination in the Republic of Bulgaria will give for a first time the annual „Hodzhazade Mehmed Muhyiddin effendi” awards. The awarding ceremony for the five selected by a special committee persons, who have given a good example to the society, will take place from 18:00 o’clock in the Ceremonial Hall of the Central Military Club in Sofia.

The award is established in the name of the first Grand Mufti Hodzhazade Mehmed Muhyiddin Efendi, who took up his appointment on December 8, 1910.

The aim of the award is to dignify with a public recognition people with significant achievements and contribution to the development of the Muslim Denomination and the Muslim community in the country and to promote their exemplary deeds which will contribute to expanding the circle of good and exemplary acts and activities in the society.
