Regional Mufti of Ruse awarded the finalists from Ruse region in “The Mosque in my life” competition

The Regional Mufti of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu handed the prizes of the finalists in the competition “The mosque in my life”, who are from settlements in the scope of Regional Mufti’s Office - Ruse. The awarding took place the past week in the premises of the Danube riparian city.

The participants in the national competition from Ruse region who are among the finalists in the contest are two. They are Sezen Aydan Zyulkyar who participated in “Drawing” category in first age group of the contest and was ranked at second place, as well as Gyulyay Ayhanova Basrieva who participated also with a drawing in third age group and got an incentive prize.

The competition “The mosque in my life” was announced for writing essay, poem and for drawing from the Media and Culture Center at Grand Mufti’s Office of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria. It was organized in the framework of this year’s “Week of mosques”.

The deadline for submitting the works was October 7^th, 2017, and in the contest took part children and youths from the entire country with 70 drawings, 15 essays and poems in total. The participants were divided into three age-groups – from 6 to 13 years old, from 14 to 18 years old and from 19 to 25 years old.
