Meeting of the Regional Muslim Council was held in Kardzhali

On November 15, (Wednesday) this year was held a meeting of the Regional Muslim Council in Kardzhali. It took place in the premises of the Regional Mufti’s Office in the city.

Within the meeting were discussed important and current topics, which directly affect the work of the Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali during the coming year 2018, as well as the life of the local Muslim community.

Among the discussed topics was that about the current institutional situation of the Muslims in Kardzhali region some of which are the Muslim boards of trustees, the mosques in the region, the summer and the year-round Qur’an courses that are taking place, as well as the activities related to them.

The participants in the event discussed issues about carrying out the Orphans’ Week 2017, as well as the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine for the upcoming year 2018.

There were also discussed topics related to the activities of “Irshad” Department for year 2018. And one of the focuses of the meeting was the constitutional right of studying the subject “Islamic religion” as an elective subject from the students in school.

The participants in the meeting discussed the possibility of providing hahal food for the children in kindergartens as well as that for transforming of the current summer Qur’an courses in year-round.

The meeting of the Regional Muslim Council ended with a dua (supplication) for health and successful and fruitful work of the team.
