Meeting of the Committee on Publishing Activities

On 2^nd November, Thursday the Committee on Publishing Activities at Grand Mufti’s Office held a meeting.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman Vedat Ahmed and the members of the Committee Dzhemal Hatip. Dr. Ismail Dzhambazov, Murad Boshnak, Dr. Kadir Muhammed, Muhammed Kamber. Due to health problems Assoc. Prof. Ismail Yalamov was not present in the meeting.

The agenda of the meeting included a discussion of the issues of “Muslims” magazine from the recent moths, proposals and adoption of themes of the magazine for the first six months of year 2018, approval of a draft plan for the books which are going to be published in 2018 and proposal for establishing a fund for publishing activity. The Chairman of the Committee said: “We have to encourage people to donate for publishing activity…”

As a good practice in the magazine was mentioned the diversification of the themes and the teamof authors. “This definitely was a great progress”, said Dr. Dzhambazov.

With regard to the books that are going to be published during the upcoming year the members of the Committee are of the opinion that there have to be published books for children in a simple for them language.
